Alight is free. Use it as much as you like, on any device of yours, for as long as you like.
Nothing in it is for sale, there is nothing to subscribe to, and no part of it is held back until you pay.
The licence
Alight is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, the same terms that cover most apps on the App Store. What follows are the few things particular to this one.
The scripture
The text is the Berean Standard Bible, whose publishers have placed it in the public domain. It belongs to everyone. Copy it, quote it, print it, read it aloud, and share it as freely as you wish. The cross references behind Threads come from OpenBible.info and are shared under a Creative Commons Attribution licence.
What you write
Your highlights, bookmarks and kept prayers are yours. They stay on your phone, they are never seen, and no claim of any kind is made over them.
The prayers and meditations
The written prayers, the recorded meditations and the design of the app are mine, and are given to you to use rather than to sell. Pray them aloud, read them to your family, use them in your church, give them to a friend who needs them. Please do not repackage them as your own.
This is not medical care
The prayers and meditations are for prayer and for rest. They are not treatment, and they are not a substitute for a doctor, a nurse or a counsellor. If you are unwell, or frightened, or thinking of harming yourself, please tell a real person today. Ask God, and then also ask a human being who can sit with you.
